We are looking for a Senior Level GRID Computing Engineer who will have a strong focus on designing enterprise class Grid Computing/High Performance Computing solutions in an global environment. He/she will be required to work with internal business partners and external vendors to develop and implement an Enterprise Grid/High Performance Computing solution to meet business needs. He/she must possess the ability to provide solution recommendations and infrastructure designs that help customers align IT with business priorities. Once solution recommendations are provided, the individual is expected to play an integral role in their implementation. Creation of architecture documents, operations guides/run books relative to projects being worked on is also required.
The individual must be self-motivated and goal oriented. He/she must possess outstanding organization, time management, and multitasking skills - must be able to manage multiple simultaneous commitments. Strong collaboration skills and project management skills are required, the individual must be able to thrive both with individual tasks and within the framework of a team environment.

Skills and Experience:

- 8+ years IT experience
- 4+ years experience as a Lead GRID/High Performance Computing Engineer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- In-depth knowledge administering and architecting HPC solutions including, but not limited to, Tibco-DataSynapse GridServer, Microsoft HPC Server 2008 R2, C-Squared, and PolySystems
- Practical experience working with GRID environments greater than 1000 engines
- Experience consolidating diverse grid platforms across lines of businesses to a single GRID Utility. A broad understanding of the issues (both technical and non-technical) that are associated with such a consolidation would be demonstrated.
- Possess the ability to define and execute enterprise-level GRID and Cloud computing strategies
- Microsoft Core Infrastructure experience (Active Directory, SMS/SCCM, SCOM, DNS, DHCP, WINS) in terms of having an understanding of how to leverage these technologies to manage a Grid Utility is a plus.
- The candidate must possess the skills to analyze requirements and design solutions that perform optimally, achieve redundancy and minimize end-user impact in the case of failures.
